When your work generates strong public reactions or direct challenges, how do you typically process and categorize that feedback?
Right away, methodically. But now, even recently, it depends—am I punching up or punching down? I look at it, and if the person is unknown, like a troll, I leave it alone. If it’s someone I know, say a peer—as with the incident yesterday—I take my time with it. I sit with it. Now, with AI I have my avatar, my second brain. I run it through there to preserve my real brain power. Most of the time it is fairly accurate, and I intend to use those public reactions and challenges for content. Gone are the days when I would just reply in a Facebook message or post and it would disappear. Now I use it in lectures, social media content, and books. Those direct challenges benefit me, so in a way, I thank them.
