Beyond the NFT drops and the VR experiences, what personal price have you paid to drag Baybayin from being some dead script into a living, breathing Sulat?
People see the or have a perception of all the I guess glitz and glamour. Maybe that is because we are in the social media age and yeah some artists or culture bearers sort of you know and do get treated better especially if they have a large footprint or charismatic and all of those things. I think it's telling because when people don't have their culture and they see someone or a group that expresses or has that, they ultimately sometimes get put up on a pedestal. In terms of the price to bring the script from dead to living. I think that the price to pay is that. I don't know if fame is the right word but You know, there is a price to pay. And people only see the highlights on social media. They don't see the hard work. They don't see the times where you're spending money. They don't see the times where, you know, your partner is in disagreement. And they don't see the times, you know, when some folks, some culture bearers are away from their kids and their family. Or maybe it even ruined relationships. with communities or family. And so those things people don't see. I think that I paid a price in terms of maybe a professional career if I put all this effort into this cultural practice into a day job. Yeah, I could probably have been some, you know, hotshot executive at some tech company, you know, being a multimillionaire. I think that's something that I probably could have done.
